About Me

My name is Stefan Pijnacker, I’m a Graphics Programmer from the Netherlands with experience in DirectX 12 and OpenGL. I’m currently studying Game Technologies at Breda University of Applied Sciences.

I love making games, studying, creating shaders, juicing games using graphics and achieving realism in side-projects like my path tracer.

Like many other game developers, games have been my passion since childhood. I was truly fascinated by them. Over the years I got more interested about what was happening behind the scenes. After the classic “How are games made?” google search. I discovered programming and now we are here!

I’ve been programming for the last 7 years. My primary languages being C++ and C#. I’ve experience in most mainstream engines and nowadays I’m working on custom engines as well. I’m currently working to be a generalist graphics programmer with my areas of focus leaning towards interactive rendering techniques and light transport.

Most recently I’ve interned at Traverse Research, which specializes in computer graphics research for different platforms. During my time there I worked on research for clients like ARM and Meta.
